mouse buttons...

i am now using a wireless microsoft intellimouse withthe 2 side buttons with all the usial. Ok i went on today to program the scroll buttons, but they cant be changed, am i wrong or is this the only game ever to not allow that..


Aslo i got a Microft intellimouse with only the two top button..then i got the Tilt wheel screll button thing, it has forwards backwards left right and down, no game has yet programed the side buttons yet. I feel like i wasted my money on getting that mouse with useless buttons. Dose anyone know how to program them to work?

If you can find an older version of IntelliPoint, it has a section for application specific settings and you can map all of the extra buttons based on the .exe file running.

I don't know if the older version software will work with the newer versions of mice though.

They removed this great feature with the newer driver versions Idiots

I remap all of my buttons anyways (so my side buttons are are ";" etc.)
This way, I can remap all of my buttons on my MX510.. works GREAT.
You can remap them with the basic program that comes on the install cd.
