What will my second unlock be?

I got this game in June 22, since then, my brother and I have been playing this game on the SAME ACCOUNT and just now got to 10,500 points.

But for some reason BF2 isn't asking me what I would like to unlock.

So, I have the PKM, what weapon would you all recommend? I was thinking of getting the M95.

How many points do I need for second unlock?

G36c or L85. Second unlock at 10.5k. Gotta let the system update.

G36C. I had the misfortune to unlock the L85A1. Trust me, you don't want it.

Ok, the second unock is AROUND 10,500 points, there have been reports of getting it at up to 11,000 points. So that sux for you, another couple of hours possibly. Anyways, i wouldn't go for the M95, still no one shot one kill except if you hit em in the head. I would recommend the G36C, man, you can pick off people at long distances with burst firing, it has like no recoil, the L85A1 does more damage and has a scope, but it's recoil is terrible, semi-auto only for the L85A1. I wuld recommend the G36C, both weapons are good, but IMO the G36C is better. The G36C is still my fav weapon.

the l85 is good at medium range, but i like the m95 best now...just have to consider bullet drop and ur fine...i love taking out pilots..but it takes practice so dont get frustrated if u miss a lot

I found to get the unlock you have to:
1. reach the point level
2. log out and log back in; maybe see promotion notice (and it now shows new rank in BFHQ)
3. join a game and get a kill. see promotion notice again
4. log out and log back in; get dialog box asking if you want to select unlock

What's wrong w/ the L85A1? I was thinkin g36c or l85a1. I play both pretty equally now.

I unlocked the m95 for my first unlock and hardly use it. I tried getting used to it but it's hard for me to sit and wait for a head shot.

I got the L85 as my first unlock, and the M95 as my second. Both take quite a while to get used to (a little longer than the other unlocks), but own once you get there. I HIGHLY recommend both.

to get promotion and unlock:

get 10501 points, quit game, wait 4 hours
launch game, join server, get 1 point and it will promote you
quit server, log out of account, log back in to account, get unlock.
its a simple 20 step process.
