MEC Ribbon

For ribbon and other requirements please check the front page of TBF2, left side near the bottom.

BadLizzard closed a thread (for the above-quoted reason) that was asking how one obtains the MEC Ribbon; however, the page lists the prerequisite for the MEC Ribbon as:

Currently N/A

As such, I'm confuzzled as to why the thread would be closed and its readers pointed to such a thing?

Just look here for your badges, ranks etc needs, seems more upto date the other sites i've seen.

Ok..it says the Chinese Service Ribbon is N/A but I've seen people with that ribbon.

Any ideas?

I'll try and locate someone's stats who has that ribbon.

Number 1 gent score wise. Has both the MEC and Chinese Service Ribbons...and has had them for 5+ weeks. UBAR says they're N/A.

I recieved both the Chinese and MEC ribbons this past weekend (got the good conduct ribbon as well, BTW). I have no idea how I got the first 2, but since I exceeded 250 hours played I suspect it had something to do with that.

Update:
Both the Mec and Chinese service ribbons take a kill streak of 5 and 13 kills in one round according to one web site.

From what ive heard you need 250 global hours and 37 (i think) on each team to get these, meaning they are just worthless collection crap that you need to put hours in to get them, no real work to get em. Kinda sucks wish they were about playing well on china side or something so you had to earn em.

But that is not it... I have tried for these ribbons and you can not get them with just kill streak of 5 and 13 total kills...

I have killed 18 people straight with no ribbon. Also, I have to agree.... everyone is so quick to point to the "many" web sites with stats on how to get ribbons but it is clear that not one site has all teh facts when it comes to the MEC and CHINA ribbons.

You definitely need 250 hours. I got both as soon as I hit 250 hours without any particular effeort. Just one round on a MEC map, and one on a Chinese map. So the extra requirements beyond 250 hours can't be much.
