... pistol kills and especially knife kills don't come up too often with my style of play.

Personally i think that knife kills are easier than pistol... let's say u sneak close to an unsuspecting victim. With a knife you can sprint and kill him with 1, 2 "shots" at the most. But with pistol u have to click like crazy and he still has time to locate you after hearing your first shot and he can then gun you down with his assault rifle.

Nice 1 sandman I am still trying, same as you most I have gotten is 16 and the round ended, I have tryed karkand (sneeking around the back of USMC base and I keep being killed) I will get it oneday just looks like not just yet :)

Knife kills are much easier to come by than pistol kills in regular combat. Just run around in the trees and pick off any campers!

I think the best way to get pistol kills is to be a sniper. Use the M24 or preferably the M95. Hit the target once with your rifle and finish him off with your pistol and ironsights

Well I was going to make a new thread, but my issue is sort of related to this so I guess I'll ask you guys here (sorry for a minor derailment of the thread).

My issue is, I've got way over the threshold for the Veteran Pistol Badge (I've got around 115 pistol kills and the badge requires 50) plus I've obviously got the 7 kills per round already (I've got my Basic Pistol) and have consistently gotten 7 pistol kills per round a few times since - yet I have still not been awared my Veteran Pistol. Exactly what am I doing wrong / is there a requirement for the Veteran Pistol that I've overlooked?
