Is anyone using macro's in BF2?

for example, if you press a button, you instantly swap to grenades, throw, and switch back to rifle.

I used those things a lot in return to castle wolfenstein but not (yet) in this game. (Mostly because i was to lame to do it myself and rather copy the command lines from others )

It's possible in any game using external software, usually mouse or keyboard related, although I see little point for macros for BF2 as it's all very accessible.

well i could think of some...

the grenade switch..
crouch-defibr-bzzzzt-rifle-stand up
eject-parachute (man how many times i crashed face down into the ground when i made a low altitude jump and failed to hit the 9 but hit every other single button surrounding it)

you know these are all little things that could save you precious (mili)seconds when in the heat of a battle.

i for shure wouldn't feel bad about using it. Its not like it's giving you a major advantage. If you consider this to be lame, then so is binding weapon slots to you 10-button mouse.. damn im so lame. i dont care, at least i dont (try to) tk and baserape etc
