Guiding rockets from APC etc ?

Does anybody know if its possible to guide the rockets from the APC:s ?

I've tried but havent figured a way to make them turn, last nite on Fung She i was hiding behind a window playing anti tank when an APC fired a rocket at me. I saw it was going to miss so i rose up again and then the darn thing changes direction and hit me right in face. Guess it might have been luck since they tend not to go straight all the time...

Its not luck, when you fire the TOW mounted on the various apc's it goes towards your crosshairs, ALWAYS.

Dont mistake the bradly Linebacker with an apc, AA missles do not fallow your crosshairs.

yes they can move, but not very good, its like the TOW or H8J rockets, but weaker.

OH, i didn't know that APCs could guide their missiles, well, that's one more thing i didn't know.

just hold the fire button down and move your mouse in the direction you want to move the missile after firing. This goes for most missiles too.

Don't feel bad. It took me about 3 weeks worth of playing to even realize that you could make the rockets move at all :laugh:

i would be like... WTF, how can you hit my APC from across the map that easily as I move! Grrrrrrr, then I did it one day and it gave the anti-tank kit a new meaning

They're not actually "rockets" but are TOW missiles. TOW stands for Tube-launched, Optically tracked, Wire-guided. The missile is connected to the APC by a long, thin wire (~3km long, I believe.) This wire is used to send trajectory data to the missile so that you may change its flight path while it is still en route to its target.
