Wow. I'm surprised. I was dead sure about that. Well, if it happens in all games maybe that LCD isn't good for gaming. I haven't read anything on it, but some LCD's just don't game well. This isn't what you want to hear, but it's possible. Hook your old CRT back up if you still have it and see if the problem goes away. You can also try driveclean to remove all the reminents of the old display driver.

Did you properly install the latest drivers, that is uninstall the old ones, use DriverCleaner, and then re-install the new ones?

If not you may want to do that as there maybe bits and peices left over from the old driver causing the blur.

hmm i hope thats not the case! it has a 8ms response time and i hear people with 12ms having no problems i thought it was a decent monitor jeez

ahh yes i might try driver cleaner
when i did the hidden devices thing there were like 10 drivers that were on there

Yeah my monitor is very similar to your's, in fact I saw a comparison in a forum once. I have then Samsung 930b. Same native res. and response times.

I have an LG1930BQ 19" with a 12ms reponse. I know what your talking about and I dont know that there is really any real solution to it I run all my games in Native Res(1280x1024) and yeah if I move really quickly I see the same thing. making sure V-synch is on may help a bit but its not "ghosting" but it is something I too see, moving from a CRT.

your not gonna ever get rid of the blurryness unless you just don't let it bug you, and just try to forget about it

LCD's always have some blur no mater what u try or do, if you want perfect picture w/o blur stick with CRT, thats why most gamers still use CRT's, because they have a much faster response time (aka refresh rate)

LCD's work differently than CRT's, and normal refresh rate means basically nothing, there's basically no difference wether its set at 60 or 75 (save that your screen will flicker for a sec while it tries to change lmao), LCD's work off the pixel refresh in ms, that basically cannot be changed (save buying a new LCD lol)

i saw figure out how to get the native res to display, other wise you are interpolating the image, which kills quality.

The native is 1280x1024

to force that RIGHT click the desktop icon. Under target, this is EXACTLY what it should read:

"C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\BF2.exe" +menu 1 +fullscreen 1+szx 1280 +szy 1024

^ Damn you beat me to it lol. I have this setting too and I love it! I just wish I bought the 6800 NU or 6800 tho lol...
