We were hacked. Several times over the past two weeks, in fact.
While all passwords are encrypted and salted, it's recommended that you change your password here when you can.
All this crap, why not just tell the guy the patch has been delayed, EA released a update to the ongoings on the patch and it's on there website (The news). :)
Odds are, they will just release the patch for this with the SF expansion...
I mean, it would be a good way to make a buck. You're about 100% sure you're going to hit the same sales mark as the original game if ya' do so.
Would be an EXCELENT buisness decision for EA. Not like any of ya' wouldn't buy the expansion anyways; right!? You're all just lemmings anyways, right!?
...so, there you have it. I have made the official prediction (although I'm not to first to make it) EA will release the path for BF2 with the SF Expansion.

Because if he would have read anything on the BF2 home page, or did a search here, or read any number of other sites (including a Google news search), he would have answered his own question.
I don't think EA will somehow tag the 1.03 patch on with some expansion. Even when expansions come out, patches for those who did not buy the expansion still get patches. Look at the first BF for proof of this. The patch will be out when it is ready. I hope its ready soon, but I would much rather they release a patch that solves more issues than it creates (which seems to be a problem with many patches).
So, if EA opts. to release the patch with the Expansion, you won't buy the Expansion?
Cmon' now! Are you saying you're NOT a Lemming? Dude.. don't play here. This is serious.

If EA opted to do such a thing I would send EA an email expressing my disgust, send DICE an email expressing my disgust regarding the said actions of their publisher, and never again purchase another EA-published software title.
1.03 Update Progress
In this space about a month ago, EA and DICE listed many of the feature tweaks and updates that are pending for the 1.03 Update. In order to address the key issues as quickly as possible, we set an aggressive release date for the end of August. Unfortunately, as we approach the end of this month, it has become apparent that we will not meet this goal, and we wanted to keep you abreast of our progress. We are committed to making the 1.03 Update as comprehensive as possible, so while it is important to us to keep the release date, it is more important that we take the time to do this right. We will avoid committing to another date, but know that our goal is to get 1.03 out as quickly as possible. Keep fighting soldiers, the 1.03 Update is coming!
Think before you type...if not...once finished HIT CANCEL and you'll be doing us all a favour.
Now why don't you tell us what you really think...see above.
Thanks.
