I love the "noob tube". I have a hard time finding a good squad so I typically become lone wolf. It works great on the enemy jeeps/trucks and when rushing a flag area. I killed a squad of five on Penn. board this weekend with it. Rushed in, shot the GL at one, switched back to the AK101 and killed three more, ran out of clip, switched to pistol, killed the last, defended flag. I loved it. I also love shooting the Gl into the back of trucks when they drive by. Check my stats, im not a noob and Im dont use armor on Shan Penn or Karkland. Just use what EA (dice) gives me.

It also takes skill to shoot one of these things long distance, its fun hitting someone and they have no clue where it came from.

I too also hate bunny noobs shooting the GL or anything else at that matter.

I use de assault class everytime and i dont think i am a 203 whore,

why, i only use it when there more than 3 poeple in the same place,

destroy vehicule, and when i got no more ammo

^yup....the 203 can be a very effective weapon, but can be abused by noobs just like everything else in this game. Complain about noobs and stat
padders in general, not the weapon

yeah ... I wish people would keep reading before they drop their .02
my point was that their behaviour (pure stat whoring) made every round extremely boring. On most of the maps a unorganized crowd of causal gamers just cant do s**t against a "well organized" squad.
Im pretty sure that some of those guys got bored too nade-nade-resupply-nade-rez-nade-resupply- .... you get my point?

Yeah, I get it. But the resupply thing is a really grey area at best, no matter which way you look at it. Even the official Prima strategy guide suggests to form a two man squad with a sniper and a support guy. I guarantee you that's at least as lethal as the assault and support squad and just as tempting for those who are into stat padding...

And again, I agree with you wholeheartedly that it's not whích map or with whom you play -- it's how you play it...

if someone whores up that noob tube and it starts to annoy me i usually succumbe get out one of my own and pwn their ass...shooting with a noob tube is easy cos u jus gotta get elevation...thats when they start to moan when theyre getting freaking killed by a noob tube

203 is all i use k. So funny watchin every1 whine. Like those dolphyn divers. On 1 server they were ****in me so off that i tracked em down and killed em with mah 203 at close range. Oh the insults and whine

I had the pleasure to compete against a "uber-clan" *cough* today. they had exactly 3 tactics.

1. BH squad
2. M203/medic squad (on maps w/o BH)
3. M24(95)/medic squad

... pure stat whoring

How in the world do you call a squad working together state-whoring?!

Sure, EA may have fudged the noodle on a couple of balance issues in regards to the BlackHawk's power, and the M203's detenation range. But, you're getting your behind handed to ya' because a group of guys are working as one. It's hard to beat that on any day... unless you have the same thing going on your side.

The nade launchers are best at medium range. Close range will get you a lot of deaths. I guarantee you, most of the close range tubers will have the most or nearly the most deaths on the scoreboard by the end of the match. Albeit they may have a high amount of kills, but experienced players know how to approach noob tubers.

close ranger DOES NOT get you a lot of deaths thats why the explosion radius should be increased if someone runs 2 ft in front of me i just have to hop once and shoot and their dead

I don't really understand this attitude at all. It's a game, so how you play is the *only* thing that matters. At the end of the day no one is dead, but some people played well and some people played like n00bs.

the only thing i have to say about m203, Gp-30 or wathever without reading all those post is that among every damn 203noob, im always better than them. some who saw me play would say same. 203 are for noob cause they dont know how to use a real damn gun like te m-16 or l-85 or even shotgun. from all the guns i never took a complete round to play with is the Grenade launcher. exacly the same m79 as in BF:vietnam. its a good gun i agree but when someone has better skills than most normal soldier with other gun, 203 wont stant a chance. i did not calculate it but but i estimate that 60% of people in karkand for example uses M203, GP-30(assault). usefull to being skillfull over time.pff not a chance.

Hmm... 3 or 4 shots into someone and they don't go down, well what are other people killing you with? Are you sure you hit them? I have used pretty much all the starter weapons and kill people with them regularly. May take 4 shots or so, but thats only a second with a G36 or M16, or any AK. An M24 properly aimed is a 1 shot kill. G36 in the head is 2 shots. And thats not the G36C.

The M203 or G-whatever is a noob tube if you use it all the time. If you use it like it was meant to be used, from a distance into a crowd as a strategy, then it is just another tool of the arsenal.

I kill ppl who use them all the time, I just wait for them to miss because they are noobs :) and then pick them off with the G36. Or tear them to shreds with the PKM.

There is only one variant of the G36 in this game, and that is the Commando. Whatcha' talking bout' willis'!?
