It is the only the only weapon that seems to have a half decent chance of killing anyone. I have put 3-4 shots with other weapons into someone and they don't go down. At least with the m203 you know that thay won't turn around and blast you.

Yeah, you know especially when they have very little splash damage that can hurt you when you shoot them too close to yourself at your target. They call them n00b tubes for a reason bud. I guarantee that with the next patch you won't see people using them at close range for fear of killing themselves. As it is, they shoot them at point blank range with no fear of reprisal.

But I digress. Enjoy your n00b tube while you can.

If you dislike how the M203 is, fine. Complain to EA and dice. Dont bitch at 203 users. They are using the best anti-infantry weapon in the game(well, that and the SVD). If you are complaining because people are using completely valid tactics to win, you need to grow up. Thats like bitching because someone killed you with a tank, and you were infantry.

TFH is right-after 1.03 is out, there will be very few that use the noob tube; after all, it should have the same effect as a grenade, except no timer, impact detonated; if you fire it point blank, it should be a suicide as well, and it shouldn't be quite as accurate

anyway, it just means that the person using it can't fight any other way, so she (yes she, cause only girls and gays would use the noob tube) has to be a noob about it

Everyone stfu that says that you need skill to use it, I used to think like you until I tried using it on singleplayer, for I did not want to taint my stats with the noobness of the weapon. It is as$ easy to kill someone at range with that gun and at close range (obviously) it is the NUBE TUBE, end of discussion, keep in mind this was practically my first time using the GL and I owned everything. Yes it was single player, but I wasn't taking into account the difficulty of the bots, I was taking into account the ease of how to aim the GL. It is a nube tube, even more so than in Socom II (and in that game the situation is BAD, however there is a better 'code' or 'honor' system if you will, where absolutely no one uses the weapon as it is a complete disgrace).

All my stats were achieved by completely non-noob methods, I allmost never snipe, nube tube, point whore as medic or support.

You sir, are a moron. Alot of people that use it are not noobs, but tactical geniuses, male or female, gay or not, who cares. "Dont ask dont tell policy".

If i see a group of 2 or more MEC, why try and mow them down with bursts from the m16; the AK101 will take you out long before you finish your killing.

If I see a person far away in the dust lying down with only a head to shoot at; why waste a clip or more trying to kill him when I know I can hit him from 100 yards with a "noob tube", something a noob most likely cant do.

Using the m203 or gp30 is fine as far as I am concerned. However when combined with "bunny hopping" to avoid the splash damage from CQC, that crosses the line.

I'm glad to hear the radius will be increased too. You soldiers just keep piling up in those alleys that way I can get 5-6 kills at a time not just 2-4, and even after the change; Gloria Gaynor says it best "I will survive" because I dont use it close in the first place.

There was a game recently when I used m203 (aside from that I used assault class only to get basic badges) and my experience was:
I was medic on Karkand (MEC), our opponents were good: moving in squads, reviving each other. Our team sucked: everyone tried to be rambo. So everytime i turned around a corner, i found 2-4 guys maybe shooting down one, then dying.
So I decided I'll try the nubetube, at 2:3 K/D. I finished with 34:8. (thats about 32:5 with GL) And this was my first time using that thing, so it take NO skill to gain kills with it. Btw it worked like charm: turn around corner, m203 to squad, AK to the survivor (if any) pick up dead medics kit: throw medpacks, change back. If out of ammo, pick dead supports kit, throw ammo bags, change back. But i didn't enjoy it compared to playing with a good squad as medic.

Why not use a weapon that was put in the game to use? If we werent meant to use it then it wouldnt be in the game in the first place.

If it is so easy to use and aim how come your accuracy is only 33% with the "noob tube". Sounds to me like someone is bitter because of equipment they are inept to use. :laugh:

So I decided I'll try the nubetube, at 2:3 K/D. I finished with 34:8. (thats about 32:5 with GL) And this was my first time using that thing, so it take NO skill to gain kills with it. Btw it worked like charm

Using the granade launcher at >8 meters is fine in my book, since it takes some skill to actually lead the target, but the people who bunnyhop around and plug people's feet with it at point blank should be dragged out into the street and publicly egged and pie'd. It takes no skill what so ever and it looks rediculous.

Its in the game, sure, but its obvious dice didnt mean for it to get whored like it is now. Anyone who uses the 203 as primairy whenever he has the assault kit i a noob, i dont care if you CAN use the bullet feature, the fact you dont use it is worse enough.

You said you would make me TK you, I dont do that, no matter how annoying they are. I get enough TK's from sporadic morons driving over my mines.

I never said he was an expert either; do you read posts before responding? I just made it a point that what he posted and what his stats indicate tell different stories.

And your point of switching teams to TK me is so logical? Its in the game because there is something called freewill. People like to switch teams. There are idiots who take advantage of it do things like you mentioned.
