BF:Nights releasing today!

Converts all the city maps to night, but it is not some ****ty effect, looks VERY nice:



It will be exclusivly released later today to www.bf2un.com. You can get it earlier if you join the bf2un TS server @ 217.112.85.29:8767 which you can also interview the maker of the mod. There is also talk of implementing NVGs and flashlights in later builds.

The will be released later today exclusivly at www.bf2un.com but you can get it earlier on their TS channel which is indicated on top post.

Yes, you need to download this mod. In-game go into community and hit the "custom games" tab, then enable the mod.

This looks awesome, night fighting in karkand? Friggin sweet. To play this mod I need to have it and the server has to be running it right? In a standard server you won't see it? And also punkbuster doesn't pick up mods as cheats or anything right? So like I wouldn't have to have two seperate BF2's running one with mod and one without?

Client - bf2nights_client_v0.9 - 150 MB
Win32 Server - bf2nights_w32server_v0.9 - 13.7 MB
Linux Server - bf2nights_linuxserver_v0.9 - 13.5 MB

This is a seperate mod that needs to be enabled, it is NOT an overwrite. That means no ranks and no playing on non-modified servers.

Was it checked with DICE or EA or whoever thats its not agaisnt the EULA and some other ******** EA makes up to modify original maps and distribute them?
