Blue Angels Mod, who wants In ?

Hey Guys,

Well I feel like starting a Blue Angels Mod. Basically, we'll have skinned F-18's in the blue angels theme(no weapons) along side great maps ! I'm looking for the following :

• Skinners(Capable of turning the stock F-18 into blue angel f-18 and possibly the US uniform into blue angels uniform)
• Coders ; don't have to be experts, just enough to know to take off the bombs etc..

I'll be in charge of the maps, hosting and PR.

Errr so basically planes just fly around in the sky with no bombs or anything? I mean, would look cool - but it would also get boring.

actually i think it would be pretty cool. Practice formation flying without "accidents" that sometimes happen. I'm also a pilot if you can tell : )

I'd really love to see this happen. I've been a big fan of the Blue Angels since I was a kid. Had the opportunity to go up with them years ago.

i cant mod or anyything like that but it would be awesome if you did make a blue angels mod would be cool if you could have smoke trailing the jets too

I bet that's possible, since smoke comes out of the jets... could be an animation where it acts as it is damaged and the color can be colored white, and lasts longer... or blue/yellow and last longer

Reminds me. My uncle was head of the Blue Angel ground team for some time. Now he just hangs around the U.S.S. Saratoga and collects checks from the Navy. So far he has not seen a day of duty and is probably never going to see Iraq or Afghanistan.
