Internet Stops when Client Data is Loading HELP!

ok guys, i recently got charter cable installed in my apt, 100 mbps, it loads the game fine and everything but when it starts to load the client data the internet blinks for 5-7 seconds then comes back on for about 15-20 seconds, and its very frustrating. it does it randomly throughout the day but ALWAYS does it as soon as the client data is being loaded. i live in auburn. i don't know if charter is fixing all their cables from katrina or not, my roommate is calling them now...anyone else having any similar problems?

advice and help would be greatly appreicated

I had a similar problem with America's Army.. whenever the menu would load, my cable modem would reset. I had Comcast replace my modem and everything was fine.

I'd say the hurricane may have something to do with it, and maybe the modem too. Either way, not much you can do w/o getting the cable company involved, IMO.
