TV Missile Refuses to Fire?

Ive noticed this several times while being in the gunner seat of the attack helicopters. You switch over to TV missile mode, but for some reason when you click to fire it doesn't register it. Sometimes I have to try to click up to 4-5 times before the stupid missile will fire. Im pretty sure its not a problem with my mouse because I dont see problems like this with any other weapons. Is there some special secret trick to firing the missile that I am not aware of? Or has anyone else ever noticed anything like this?

happened to me too, it will give you the sound of the missle leaving but wont actually let you guide it....sooo gay.

Yep, I've seen that as well. It normally happens after a reload (yes, it has finished reloading) as far as I've noticed and very annoying it is as well, often causing me to miss targets :/.

I think some missiles have a problem with firing if you don't have a "target", i'm pretty sure that one of the 3 helos has something like this.

I think its that you must click a enemy unit or the missile wont lauch.

Not true. Despite the fact that TV missiles can be guided wherever you want them, whether you have a specific target or not, I'm clicking on the damn unit and the thing doesn't fire :/.
