Major lag???why

Hey,
ok Iam getting alot of lag in my game when my ping is around 28-40 in games.perhaps its my comp...heres my specs!

AMD Athlon 3200+ 3Dnow 2000+.
ATI Radeon Xpress 128mb series 200.
512 DDR SDram.

is there anything else I need to tell you???if not..I play on low specs..I mean everything is low..even changeing my card settings to the lowest..and I get alot of lag...stuttering alot!if you can help me I would love to hear from you.

ur using an integrated Video chip to play BF2 , thats ur problem go out and buy a nice video card them maybe u wont get lag. and also get more memory

I have an older comp with Nvidia GeForce FX 5700 overclocked 256mb AGP,DDR,8X...should I switch?????
and can I put the ATI card into my older comp????but I need to know where I can get drivers to run my ATI card because I was not given any cd with drivers....I do for the Nvidia card!

ok I have another Q for ya..
*I keep getting an error ingame saying problem with your connection....this causes the game to freeze like for 2-3 secs and it happens every 30-40 secs...what the heck is happening????the game also shuts down like every 1 hour or 1,30 mins....??????

Definately your video card! Try installing your Nvidia. As for ATi drivers... go use the omega drivers (google).

Yah, looks like you have an ATI Xpress 200 chipset on your motherboard. The lowest video card on PCI-Express for ATI is the Radeon X300, in which case, you will need a new video card.

I would recommend either the Nvidia GeForce 6600GT (ATI Radeon X600XT), or higher.

is there a way to open ports for the game also??so I can stop getting connection problems????and from being disconnected alot???

I have that exact router, and I have no problems with it.

Also note, you can only switch the cards IF your current motherboard has an AGP 4x/8x slot, which it maynot have if you have the Radeon Xpress 200 chipset.
