your not answering the question, did you run the md5 checker? And did it say all your files are fine? I would like to see a screen shot of that if you have it. You would be the first person ever to get this error on all servers and not have a corrupt file.

I said i've done everything and ODD-BALL i've read the hole post you idiot and i wouldn't be posting if there was a solution... use your brain. And i did get a error in the installation but when i last uninstalled it and installed it again it wasn't there infact it hasn't been there for about 3 installs but maybe that is the problem. It did work for like a week and then it just stopped i'll try to remember what happened to make it say that.

You read the post, its in there....you are on your own. Im trying to help point you in the right direction and you call me an idiot. I am using my brain, I know your problem intimatly and I know how to fix it and it is clear that you are not listening. I will now go back to the very first thing I told you, search before posting. Go back and read the 12 page post. It tells you where to get the MD5 sums and the program to check them against your files and how to replace the corrupt files. I would have even sent you copies of the good files to replace your corrupt one, but not now. Try not to insult people who are just trying to help you.

dude, why u yelling at me, im trying to help him. did you read this whole thread, i keep telling him exactly what he needs to do, then he says he did it already and calls me an idiot, and then asks where to get md5 sums. I try to help, he wont listen and calls my an idiot, you call me a prick because I won't help him after he calls me an idiot, **** it, im not helping anymore.....the answer to his problem is in this thread, all he has to do is read it.

Odd dude your the one who was starting on me anyway. and ok i'll have a look tommorow i remember now i did a disk cleanup and defrag and it went funny after that.

judder, my best advise is to follow the instructions exactly as listed below. Then reinstall the game. The whole process takes only minutes. Also be sure to remove all traces of the BF2 Demo if it was installed on your PC.

You can manually uninstall the game by removing the files and registry keys associated with it. Be sure to follow these steps exactly as they appear to prevent accidental file/program deletion on your system.

To delete the save files:

1.
Open My Documents.
2.
Right-click on the Battlefield 2 folder and choose Delete.

To delete the game files (in the default location):

1.
Open My Computer.
2.
Open the C drive.
3.
Open the Program Files folder.
4.
Open the EA GAMES folder.
5.
Right-click on the Battlefield 2 folder and choose Delete.
6.
Close all open windows.
7.
Right-click on the Recycle Bin and choose Empty Recycle Bin.

To edit the registry and remove Battlefield 2:

1.
Click on the Start button.
2.
Click on Run.
3.
Type regedit in the text field.
4.
Click File and then choose Export.
5.
Name the file Backup and make sure the Export Range is set to All.
6.
Click Save; you will now be returned to the Registry Editor window.
7.
Click the plus sign next to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE.
8.
Click the plus sign next to Software.
9.
Click the plus sign next to DICE.
10.
Right-click on the Battlefield 2 folder and choose Delete.
11.
Click the plus sign next to Electronic Arts.
12.
Right-click and choose Delete on any Battlefield 2 folders.
13.
Click the plus sign next to Microsoft.
14.
Click the plus sign next to Windows.
15.
Click the plus sign next to CurrentVersion.
16.
Click the plus sign next to Uninstall.
17.
Right-click and choose Delete on the key named {04858915-9F49-4B2A-AED4-DC49A7DE6A7B}.
18.
Close the Registry Editor.

Battlefield 2 should now be completely uninstalled. If anything appears to be working incorrectly after editing the registry, simply double-click on the Backup file on your desktop to restore the old registry.

I've tried that and when i put in regedit something completely irrelevent comes up and then comes off in about 5 secs.

ok, you gotta quit contradicting yourself, you did say "i did everything" and that you "read the hole post" and that you searched and "found nothing" and called me an idiot, but just to prove that I am a good guy i will tell you. You need MD5summer, and the MD5 sums for the game. both can be found in the post you said you read but didn't read here:

run that program using the sums you downloaded, and your bf2 folder as its target. It will run MD5 checks against your files and compare them to what it should be. This is exactly what "verifying client data" does, only this will tell you which file is good and which is bad. There are many ways to replace the bad file with a good one, ask a friend for a copy, multiple install, save, install, combine until all files good, etc. After all files pass MD5 summer, your game will work. My last hot tip, if the MD5 is too hard for you, you can try this first. Do a manuall un-install as outlined in this forum and EA forums, Google for a program called Eraser, use it to wipe your FREE space (be very careful with this program), then try to install again. Now, be a big man and appolagize for calling me an idiot.
