c4 switch

I dont know how many times I have run to throw some c4 on to a tank and either it doesnt release from my hands on to the tank or else i try to switch to the detonator and it doesnt switch and then i end up laying another c4 and finally ends up going off resulting in a suicide. anyone else have this happen?....alright after i posted this i realized there was a subject on my exact problem wow what irony.. sorry about this.

It happened to me today, but it doesn't happen enough to me to get frustrated.

Yup, had this problem yesterday. Saw a group of infantry, through some C4 into the crowd, quickly changed to detonate and just I pressed it swapped back to C4 and through another at which point I got shot and killed.

It will not allow me to do quick changes, as if a new pack of C4 appearing in my hand overrides the right click to change to detonator.

the switch is a bit buggy, had it to sometimes when I want to trigger just another c4 pack is dropped, others had it also so it's just another bug

This was a similar problem in BF42/DC.

Yeah I freaking HATE when that happens. Then the guy in the armor is all like "omg you freaking n00b!!!1"

I hate when I plant my C4 and get killed attempting to run for cover prior to detonating..

you will notice that with any weapon (zoom in/out on its own after you just hit alt-fire). But with C4 there seems to be some extra lag :|:

This usually happens when you are holding down the sprint key, and try to detonate or drop C4 while sprinting.
At least that was my impression of what's happening to me all the time, that's why I never use SpecOps - I always keep sprinting when sneaking up on a tank. Always forget to let go the key before changing to detonator, and die...

Can't run and switch ? i had it a couple of times. Don't now if it works always.

My problem is that as I throw out my last pack of C4 it instanly switches to the detonator and blows me to bejeezus before the C4 even hits the deck. I've lost count of the number of times I've been killed this way when trying to blow artillery or UAV trailers. I'm not hammering away at the button, one press is enough to throw that last pack, switch to detonator and blow me to smithereens.

it's a glitch in the game, not lag.

this is the problem 99% of the time
cannot sprint AND control detonator

plus

I ALWAYS count my c4 packs when they leave my hand, and I am REEEEEEEEEEEall careful on #5
since I started counting, my self kill rate dropped to nearly zero

sometimes (about 5% of the time) I get 6 packs

this is an obvious lag/packet loss glitch
