yeah there is a mod. do a search for 32 singleplayer. either on this site which probably has a thread or on planet battlefield which i know has a thread.

If you are looking for a way to practice flying, there is a bit of a way-around without having to mod. Go to multiplayer and start a local server with a 64 player map. Start on USA on the aircraft carrier in Dalian Plant and voila, access to 2 choppers and 2 jets without even npcs to mess with ya. And for the most part any map on anyside should give you access to various vehicles.
