I got mine reparing commander assets, Yes there is a basic combat engineer badge just look at my sig for all the basic badges, I also have my expert pistol and vetran knife (just can't get the 18 kills in one round for expert knife).

to get veteran badge you need 15 repairpoints lol. i never got more then 10 in a round. expert is 25 repairpoints....

I got mine for fixing our assets all the time, thanks to some retard on our team blowing up our assets on a continual basis. Not the best way to get it, really, but we won the round, eventually.

repair artilleried commander assets! its the way to go for the badge - but make sure theyre totally destroyed before fixing or you wont get the point.

Also keep an eye out for enemy saboteurs too while you do.

and with the new patch coming out, there will be a lot more spec ops going for those items b/c they gets points for destroying them.
