Kind of funny to see how many people here are whining about how unreal or how small the explosions are compared to real ones. Especially since probably none of them has ever seen one in real life. Im a former army ranger sergeant and i've thrown alot of all kinds of grenades and i must say that rl handgrenade explosions actually are kind of lame.

Neither the explosion or the damage are especially big in an open area unless you get a very good hit. Clearing out buildings is something else though...

The grenades are fine by me.

Why can't people understand that it is G R E N A D E???
Anyway, the explosions suck and the damage radius is too big for a half a second pop of smoke. At least they could have make the explosions last longer and not be a flash of smoke and unreal red stuff.

In fact all explosions suck in the game. They are to fast and too short, especially the mounted rocket launcher for destroying tanks. Halo has the best explosions in my opinion.

prob the small nade explosion is to save up some ram and the if u look at the size of a nade when u throw it...its tiny!

The only thing that bugs me is you can be behind cover and still die from the nade. And yes I mean cover, not concleament. IE KArkand...that big bolder in the MEC 2nd forward flag....Nade in front of it, me on the other side. I die. = teh sucks.

EVERYTHINg thing in this games explosion is much less then what it is in real life.

reverse that.

I think those sharples should be see able as the grenade explodes. Like lines going everywhere. And stuff. With stuff.
