I Hate PunkBuster

ok so i was playing bf2 in sharqi peninsula....i was trying to get my veteran explosive ordinance badge and i was about 3-4 kills away with 50 tickets. I even had about 165 global points...and then i got c4's and i typed... "omfg...."
and punkbuster kicked me from the server..... do i atleast get my points??? i would have had 2 medals... veteran explosive and gold star :cry:

Be mad at the server admins for setting it up to kick people who say "omfg". Its not punkbusters fault.

Well from the looks of your awards sig, I don't think you got your medals. BTW were you using the jihad jeep? Sometimes you get kicked for too many suicides.

<shrug> I don't know. Considering the majority of the world's population believes in some sort of god, the statistical odds of some server admin taking offense at that acroynm is pretty high I would think. :p Perhaps you should stop using it, eh? :)

If you get kicked then I don't think so no.

Yeah I hate pnkbuster too... I'd much rather have cheaters storm around openly headshotting from base to base...

best advice really is not to even attempt to swear on servers.. a lot of servers (ours included) have anti swearing scripts... best thing is just not to try and be clever and use acronyms that you expect arent there... we get all sorts of people trying to swear using different letters etc... they usually dont succeed in beating the antiswearing script

I used to get kicked all the time by it, and I emailed EA and they gave me some crazy deal on updating punkbuster...which didn't work. I just reinstalled it.
