Wow EA what has happened

This is sad for me because i really like this game. But lately i have noticed some thing more than bugs. There are massive amount of hackers and piraters out there. What i mean by pirate is that people are burning the game and giving it to their friends, then their friends use a cd-key generator for BF2 key and enter it. I have played for enough today. Today 5 or 6 ppl told me that their keys have been pirated, or copied what ever suits u. They go on and it says that their cd key is in use and they don't get to play for a couple of hours. I'd say the bugs are the least of my concerns right now. I live on wc, so cali. I play on the EA US offical WC servers, now they are really messed up. Oh yeah i have cable i have never had problems until like a week ago. But just recently i am experiencing lag, punkbuster errors, game disconnects, game shutdown, and hackers. The patch should be about done i assume for 1.0.3. EA has a lot of fixing to do.

Hackers? I also only play on EA us official west coast servers (maybe I've run into you? If I did I hope you didn't punish me for the tk. *drum fill* ) and I can't say I've noticed any hackers (except maybe the insta-headshot guy who could OHK while strafing with an RPK74, but that was only one guy one time). I've seen a few stat padders and a LOT of smacktards, but not really any hackers. How do you know they're hackers and not just really good players?

well i am not saying hackers are playing all over wc servers but i am saying i have encountered em before. Even EA said they have discovered hackers. They are tring to fix the punkbuster right now cause punkbuter reads text stuff only or something. I respect players on BF2, i know when to punish and not to. I'd say i am a good guy. I forgive like 95% of the time. If i see some one that trys a tk on purpose i try to kick them, plain and simple the way kicking is about.

I just hope they fix the "Artillery automatically targets any character with Wolfgang in his name" hack. GOD that's annoying.

Yeah ive been having Massive lag problems recently for no reason that i can think of, and though not a hacker that buckfutt guy is waaaaaay too good with the damn jet machine gun....

I thought PB has been doing what it should be doing. Besides, I used PBWEB to get to the latest level. What kind of cheating you guys are talking about? What would I be exepriencing if such cheats do take place?

And for people getting their CD keys stolen...they are likely downloading fake BF2 'hacks' that steal CD keys and e-mail them back to the 'hack' author.

When will people learn...

CD key generators have a 0.00000000000000000000001% chance of generating a cd key that works. Sure, those keys match the algorithm needed to install the game, but the key also has to be on EA's master list for it to be authenticated for online play. And that just ain't gonna happen.

So...ask your 'friends' about their downloading habits.

It's funny, because i think that anyone with a good enough pc that can actually run this game, can afford to go out and buy it...

That is so true...but sometimes it's just kids whose parents have a nice PC and the little kiddie isn't allow to play this type of game or does not have any money with which to buy it.
