What a Joke Battlefield 2 is. Nobody is playing the game, Nobody wants to. Battlefield 2 is just another half ass game like Battlefield Vietnam. The Command Keys Suck... You can't setup the mouse to fly choppers they way they are supposed to be. No Coop Mode. and for those you waiting for the 1.03 patch, don't waste your time. look at what happened to Battlefield Vietnam... they couldn't fix it, so they released the World War II Mod to shut everyone up, and in the the game still runs like ****, and still crashes. EA Abandon it. Now I know you all aint gonna listen, and just make up excuses, and defend EA, but look who gets suckered in to spending $50 to play for a ****ty ass game that dont eve work right. EA Can't Even come out with their own game.. they copied DesertCombat... DesertCombat Existed Long Before Battlefield 2 Was ever even thought of... No Wonder Everyone still Plays it..

I think someone's bitter at getting owned hardcore. It usually seems to be the case.
You're right, it is buggy for lots of people, but I find it to be a solid, playable and immensly fun game. Dodging gunfire, sneaking behind enemy lines, ect.
Sometimes you have to take initiative and do somethng stupid.Comment

I play it, though agreeably this game is a piece of sh*t with all the bugs and connection issues (including server->stat server communication in which frequently stats arent recorded.) With all the bugs (nametag bug) this game becomes almost unplayable. I exspecially hate it when I'm gonna get a gold, but then I get a connection problem and get disconnected.Comment

I've only had the nametag bug occur one time. And before I upgraded to the X800 XL I had the crash-to-desktop bug (with my 9800 PRO), but not anymore. Since my upgrade, I've honestly yet to witness a single bug.
I also have no connection issues. My ping is always 40-80. Never have any connection errors... I've had one or two problems with slow stat updates, but the servers hosting the stats are to blame, not EA themselves.Comment

4. they copied desert combat? i dont think so, first they made one for WW2, than one for Vietnam, its inevitable that a modern war version would be made, you basically make it sound like every large FPS (joint ops, battlefield) with modern weapons is copied off of DC, its not.
5. if its so ****ty, why do so many people like it? why are professional critics, reviewers, and magazines loving it so much? they have a reason for their opinions, you dont, 'its ****ty' is not a reason.

Yeah, whatever. We've all said/heard it all before.
The fact is that even with all its flaws, the gameplay (especially good squad work) is just too good. Most people can deal with the annoying bugs and balance issues and concentrate on having fun!
Not everyone likes every type of game that comes out. The answer is to find a game that you like playing, and leave everyone to play the games that they enjoy.
I don't like role-playing games, but I don't jump on WoW forums and talk about how crap the game runs on my three year old video card and 56k dialup interweb.
As more people who get sick of playing the game (usually incorrectly) and drop out, the more space there is on the servers for real players, and the better our gameplay will become.
