Difference between kill streak and death streak?

Lame I know but could someone define a death streak to me. Is it an outright kill as opposed to a critically wouded kill????

Death streak- is the times you have died with out killing someone( it's hard to explain)

Kill streak- how many people you killed without getting killed .

For your death streak you actually have to die, so an outright kill counts, and if your timer runs out that counts. Roughly speaking if you have to respawn then it counts as a death.

For your kill streak you don't have to get outright kills. Even if your victims get revived they will still count.

ya if you notice when your killed, you dont get a death counted on the scoreboard until you respawn. if your revived, no death.
