Low tech solution

Im sure this has been done before, So forgive me if im being redundant.
Im forever hitting the escape key in the heat of battle kicking myself from a server!
I now place a cap off a pint size waterbottle over the esc key.
Now i have one less excuse too use everytime i get wasted by the enemy!

you would need a long pinky finger to hit the esc key that much wouldnt you?

its sort of out of the way from the basic w/a/s/d keys isnt it?

im not sure wat ur doing but does pressing esc really get u kicked from a server? i thought it just brought up menu

he means that... if ur in the middle of gameplay and u aaccidently hit esc ... it takes 3 or 4 seconds before hte menu eve pops up then another 6 to 8seconds of repeatedly hitting esc before it actualy brings u back to gameplay... though esc is one of hte last keys on the keyboard that i "accidently" hit i see where it can be annoying if u do...

"the fingers u have used to type... are too fat.. if u would like to order a special typing wand, mash the tyboard with ur palm now"..

I think he dosen't know that pressing escape again puts you back...

but it doesnt.. it takes almost 30 seconds to enter the menu and come back out.. not from loading time but for whatever reason hitting esc to return to the game doesnt work right away.
30 is a long itme when ur in the middle of a Close Quarters Battles situation or in range of an enemy outpost

It take about 5 seconds for the menu to load and 1 - 2 secs to be able to hit esc back for me...

I don't know what kind of keyboard you are using, but the escape key on my keyboard is not realy near the other keys like most keyboards, never accidently hit the key, only my girlfriend hits it sometimes , so maybe it would help against her

Or... If you don't have a bottle of water handy you can just pop the key out with a knife and set it on your desk until you're done playing.

Accidently pressing esc when wanting to get outa maps/menus/etc is my number one cause of stupid deaths but no longer the esc will torment me Muahahha!
