    Timer limits on Badges/Ribbons

This is just a poll to see if you think the timers should be lowered for the badges and ribbons that requires them. This is not talking about global time, but the round time.

    Some examples would be :
    Basic Command Badge
    The Meritorious Unit Ribbon
    The Infantry Officer Ribbon
    The Staff Officer Ribbon

Im not worried about the badges or ribbons, i have all those awards you just mentioned up there and I havent even played for a full 200 hours yet. I think this should be changed to "Should the time limits be lowered for Medals?" because the amount of hours on all the medals except gold, silver, bronze, and purple heart are extremely high:

I do beleive that the time limits on the meadals is outragous. I also have all those badges/Ribbons I brought up, but I do not think it was intended that we need to go to a 64 player map with only 32 people to have enough time to get them. An average 64 player map with 64 players in it just does not take 25 minutes. I found it very frustrating to get all of the requirements except the time limit. Hence not getting my reward.

Seriously, who would play for 6000 hours, i havn't even played for 100, i wanna get that sharpshooter badge so badly, it loks so cool and it shows how good you are, you need all the expert badges for all the classes, so that means you must be really good if you have one, basically, if you have the Sharpshooter badge, i will hail you.

Medals should be reduced. Badges/ribbons are fine.

Don't forget the time requirements for all the expert badges put together + 6000 hours required for Sharpshooter.

              To cut to the point:

This is considered a FPS. I've yet to see a game titled FPSRPG, becuase right now, that's what BF2 should be labeled. All FPS are about skill. With that being said, I believe all requirements with a "timer" need to be observed. Yes, in the army, time is a huge factor for received promotions or awards. However, this isn't the army. I don't see a time requirement for ranks. If we did, it'd be playing as a soldier for 2 years before you can be a seargant - if not more.

Change the time requirement, and make it based upon kills, or K:d ratio. I don't meean 1000 kills. If they want it difficult to achieve, or want it to take time, make it 6000 kills, or 10000 kills. Save the time requirements for RPGs, not FPS

The ribbons are fine but some of the badges are a little crazy. Expert ground defence requires 750 hours. What kind of gimp would spend 750 hours of their life sitting on a TOW? That's more than 31 frickin days!
