well i prefer the F15E looks hot and no MEC flying ox-cart wil get near me, and with a good gunner not a single tank is save for me, j-10 is a class up though. highest score ever on OP clean sweep was 76 with making bombing runs and gunning flying ox-carts.

I'm sorry but the Su-34 beats the F-15 hands down, and has better turning. I don't care what you say or do, you are wrong, end of. Me in an "ox cart" V you in your F-15 = happy me.

do u learn ur flying watching top gun? its a hell of a movie if u wanna know how to engage them bastards in bf2. i love the part when u slow down and let ur hunter get on ur ass and then pull up let him pass u and then u end up engaging his ass.

For the guy that asked which jet's are the best. The Chinese jets best their counterparts from the other teams by far in this game. You take an evenly skilled set of pilots, put them on the opposite teams in a map like Daqing, the pilot in the J10 or SU will win the majority of the time.

I take it none of you guys actually fly real airplanes... In many higher-performance planes lowering the gear is something you can to to HELP slow down... (Most piston twins, for example, have lowering the gear as one of the items on the emergency descent checklist)... So just assume your pilot is doing it on his own in response to your desire to slow down..

I don't really see any big difference in aircraft performance... I'm just about even with the J-10 vs. the JSF... I do just about as well in either... I think 99% of the time, with equally skilled pilots, it will be the one who starts the fight with the positional advantage that wins, not the one in a certain plane...

Minus the fact the any decent pilot will tear you a new one as you slow down.

The closest thing to a radar scan is the commander's one, and a good commander will point out annoying enemy pilots for you to ensue. It is SO much easier to dogfight when you can see their plane on your radar. I love it when random guys on the ground call out an enemy plane. You on the ground might think it's nothing, but it really does help.

As for the landing gear, I see no issue with it. It is purely cosmetical. It doesn't effect flying ability, it doesn't MAKE you slow down, and it sure as hell comes in useful when trying to land (though a good pilot never should need to).

Up to the point of needing to land i agree with you. I land constantly and I am a very good pilot. If I need to change jets or refuel (i know you can just flyby) I land to cool my nerves and get refocused. ANd if its a two seater and somebody is asking for a job I pick them up. I love landing in the game it makes it feel more realistic. I also love impaling those idiotic noobs on my plane nose that try to cross the carrier deck when they can plpainly see I'm making an approach. Those are the people that will die from getting hit by cars.

They are not the same, anyone who cant kill someone is a J10 should not be flying anything... The J10 can fly circles (literally) around any other fighter. Its turns a bad pilot into a avg, an avg into a very good, and a good into an ace.


Ive been killed 160 times and 100 or so has been a J10 doing it. (the others are a combo of ground, a few other craft and a few crashes)


Anyone who brags that they can shoot down craft in a J10 and hardly ever die is just saying "I can kill with a superior weapon"


I have NEVER been shot down in J10 and have jumped out of many by sheer bordom, that is not a brag, its me pleading for a patch that tweaks its turning radius, its should not be able to get behind another fighter whom in behind him and within 2 complete turns be right behind the enemy gunning him down.

well i think that the looks and feeling of a plane do change the pilots preformance cause if i get in the SU it has such a weird feeling, though in the F15E i fly better, smoother and can make insane tricks, which i could not do in any other plane.

What you flamin me for, i would keep your mouth shut if i were you, everybody knows that they are all the same, i've gone on many threads, we all know, for dogfighting, obviouslythe J-10 is the best for dogfightin. THere is no best bomber, they are all the same. Heres the runout for which nations or colitions have the advantage in the air:
MEC: Attack Heli, because of that bad ass 30 mm cannon with like HE rounds.
USMC: Blackhawk, really obvious, miniguns.
PLA: J-10, more manuverable than the other fighters, and it goes faster.

Ok, the bombers are all the same, go look it up, everybody knows that for bombers it's all opinion.

Yeah, I just think it'd be nice for the aircraft to be able to provide this type of data on it's own, apart from needing to rely on a UAV or spotting from the ground (you're set as long as you have a coordinated team, but out of luck if you don't).

And you're right, the landing gear is pretty much a cosmetic touch because there should never be a need to land your aircraft in the game, but cosmetically.. it annoys the hell out of me that my gear is dropping down, when I'm not attempting to land..

yeah they should make a spy plane or recon plane thats really weak and can be shot down easily but it can drop a couple uavs
