Avatar Question

Ok i thought i would add a bit off customisation to the spec ops avatar that you can choose from this site, so i added an animated sunlight flare on the goggles.
But when i came to put it in my profile it says you cannot not have moving avatars although, i saw someone earlier with one.

Would be much appreciated if someone would tell me how.

You CAN have moving avatars. However, those tend to be unoptimized and high above the file size limit.

EDIT: It is well below the file size limit. Make sure you put it in correctly. Put just the URL there, with no vB code or anything else...

I checked and the size of the file and dimensions and they were within the range it says. Now im confused

EDIT** Ok i'll try again. Thanks.

EDIT AGAIN** Nope it's not working I have tried all the url's imageshack gave me for the image and it's just saying you cannot have animated avatars for all of them. :cry:

May i ask, saladfork where u hosted your avatar? as this may be a solution for some reason. I'm just guessing really but it's just a hunch.

I hosted mine via Saving it on my harddrive and uploading it directly to tbf2.

I have mine on ImageShack, same as yours. TotalBF2 DOES accept image uploads though.

Might be something new added. Check the rules or whatever. If it STILL doesn't work, contact an admin and let them know. Make sure to let them know what you've tried, as well as the EXACT error that you get.

Mine is taken from another site. I was surprised when it worked a while back, but whatever.

There must be a reason why yours isn't working though. I don't think it's a hosting issue. Something must be non-kosher according to totalbf2's standards.
