Of course the 6800gt is better than 6600gt. the 68 has more piplines better clocks i think and you can overclock it to an ultra. The 6600gt you can overclock but not much probably a 68nu. Get the 6800 with 2 gigs and your good to go.

Thats on a BFG 7800GTX with everything on at 1600x1200. Saved as a bmp so there is no colour loss.

I finally got my new hardware and i run everything on high except textures and lighting no AA either

how do u have those settings, i get lag if i put those settings.

and at what res do u play at, i play at 1280x1024 with everything on med, except for effects, dynamic lighting and dynamic shadows at high, AA x2 and tex filtering at high.

ok if i buy the 6600GT is there a major difference between the 6800GT

1. The price difference is big

2. You can run BF2 on Med with the 6600 GT but with the 6800 u can run it on high

(I currently have a 6600 but 4 my 14th b-day I will get the 6800 ( ) so Ive been doing my homework and studing the differences between the 2)

If you buy the 6800 can u tell me how much you bought if 4?

I have a 6600GT 128MB AGP. I play at 1024x768 Lighting/shadows medium, no aa low af and everything else on high.

I have a X700 Pro... Some guy told me that the 6600 was better... Its definitly not, I play with almost all high 4X AA and get about 40-70 fps...

System specs are in my sig. I play @ 1024x768(Highest res my crappy monitor will support), and I average 40-70 fps.

Do you have one? Lets see some screens! This isnt a contest, "No mine is bigger!" Show us the diff between 7800 and other cards. I have Nvidia and Radeon, but the x850 is my better card till 7800 drops their prices. I got my x850 for $250.00, thats half the cost of a 7800.
