    Aiming System in BF2

Is it just me or does anyone else find the aiming system in BF2 to be frustrating. I am talking about how when you aim with ironsights or a scope, the gun seems to snap into position on a grid. In other words, lets say theres someone about 300 meters out and you want to snipe him. You look through your scope and see the target, and when you try to aim at the head, the gun cannot be physically pointed at his head because the reticle snaps to a grid. You cannot aim between points on the grid. I've never had this problem with other fps such as Counterstrike, the aiming in that game feels smooth as silk. I hope EA can put a mouth smoothing option or somehtin like that because i would feel that this would solve the woes of the sniper being inaccurate and for the rest of the guns to feel more accurate.

    What mouse are you using?

    Either:

    a) get a better/more precise mouse
    or
    b) play with the mouse sensitivities

I haven't really noticed this but I understand that it's a problem for some people. What kind of mouse, windows acceleration settings, sensitivity in game and sensitivity in windows do you have?

EDIT: resolution would also be interesting to know.

There was a thread about this a while ago try searching for it.

i have an optical mouse, not really for gaming but its still good. res is 1024xsomething. I take it no one else has this problem?

I actually found the original thread
Akses VIRUS88 sebagai agen Slot88 resmi dan terpercaya 2026 dengan game gacor terbaru, proses praktis, promo harian menarik, serta layanan online 24 jam.

It suggested to lower the senstivity and increase the pitch and yaw... will have to try that to see if it works.

Lower resolutions will have less pixels than higher. Therefore, your sensitivity will be higher, and the appearance of 'snapping' may occur.

The higher resolutions have more pixels per square inch on your computer, so you can 'fine tune' your mouse on the target more easily.

          That's what I've found anyway.

I can definately see it act grid like when I am sniping, but It isn't too much of a problem for me.
