think about it. everybody is telling you spec ops, but why? because is a crap gun! they want you to pick it because you will be one less threat they need to worry about.

i, on the other hand, welcome the challenge. the g3 is vastly superior.

Both guns are good.

The G3 packs more punch and is more acurate than the other assault class weapons. You will get used to the smaller mag, but you might miss the noob tube. I prefer hand grenades, but I do miss it when light transports are racing around.

The G36C is more accurate in full auto, which is a good thing. You might miss the scope on more open maps.

Spec Ops. I have the assaults G3 and I'm dis-satisfied. It is accurate, but compared to the Special Ops G36C its practically useless when it comes to who will get sniped first.

Pit a G36C against a G3 at long range, the G36C will win. Its accuracy is unprecidented, and its recoil is almost like bouncing back to its original position. If you fire in bursts with the G3 at long range your recoil is going to make some bullets miss.

The one thing about the G36C in long range is you can heat the barrel by clicking over and over again in a short amount of time, and it will still hit the exact same position. I found myself on occasion in close range combat with single shot mode, killing another soldier in 3 shots (I guess no armour.)

But if your into close range combat the G3 is the way to go.

i unlocked the spec ops, the only thing you have to do to be good with the g36 is to alter your playing style. I used to be a medic and would run all over the place reviving and fighting with my l85a1 which was great fun. I would get shot at a lot but i could dispatch an enemy, hide and revive myself. With the spec ops kit, i didnt have that luxury, so i adopted a more sneaky style. Hiding in shadows, poping out of corners, throwing c4 over walls, setting up ambushes. Its great fun espcially when you have a good squad supporting you (which is rare). On a seperate note, does anyone know a good server with teamplay, i cant find any which is sad.

They are both awesome weapons, but on maps like Karkand i think the G3 would be better, unless you're sniping from a rooftop, i like the G36C as an alround weapon because it has like no recoil, it's my fav weapon, it kills all other weapons in recoil and accuracy, only problem, it takes 4-6 shots in the chest to down a full health soldier.

well look at the stats of the ppl saying g36 and ppl saying G3 i say G3 because it rips through them g36c is the same as M4 ffs G3 just one big MOTHER*!@*# lol i love owning ppl with it
