Issues /Help with Creative Sound Blaster Audigy 2 Sound card and BF2

Interesting article on techspot about OpenAL and Audigy 2 in 3D Games:

I have just done this and as the read says, "for me it makes a difference but not for all"!

OH ok so it's a double doable post the forum admins can scrub it if they see fit, no skin of my fin.
I found and did last night along with some other stuff i did just thought it might hold some interest for some as it has a PB issue tried up in it as well. I guess others think different that's all.

Ive done that Open AL switch and it makes BF2 crash.

I get slight audio glitches when I try this method...so I just use the original wrapper.

I am, however, posting a thread that will help with EAX issues

That link to that open AL is invalid. It says it can not connect. I would like to try that Open AL again but its a dead link.

Ace m8 that was a hell of a good job finding it in the first place and the post an interesting / good read. It's sorted a small issue for now, that i had on an older HD. Needs more testing though.
Keep up with the good work on the update
