Only the default (TGN Light) theme for now. Dark them is also coming back soon. Then CSN. Then Wrestlin' Nation. A lot of WIP stuff right now. There are a couple of things still not working either. Sorry.
i have the L8 and i was going heads up with a guy on the floor quite a distance away. i usually put it on auto and manually burst since there is no burst feature on this weapon. and i lost. the guy also had an L8. should i have just held the button down and hammered him? i mean there was no way i couldve mis-aimed. we saw each others faces directly and theres a freakin scope. also my health was full. maybe he laid a medic pack in front of him? jus venting out heat since i just got hammered.
If he was "quite a distance away" and stationary as you stated, then single shot mode is always superiour in terms of accuracy. At longer ranges, I use single shot mode and fire around two shots per second. It should take no more than about four hits to kill anyone with the L85 in this situation.
Remember that a head shot with this gun also means instant death! I'd say that luck was just on his side this time. Sorry.
The L85 is certainly more powerful than the MP5! It's also more powerful than the G36C (my latest unlock) and has a better scope. The G36C has a better rate of fire however, making it slightly better at face-to-face battles.
Single shot is the best on all the guns, usually at medium distance the person will prone down and I just switch to single and fire away killiing him while his shots are wizzing past me.
The L85A is inacurate, and its acuracy drops rapidly on full auto. It also gets relatively little benefit from going prone. Best bet at medium range is to use single shot. Only use full auto at very close range.
*Edit* The G36C is a whole different story. It is very acurate, and the big advantage it has over the M4 is that it stays more acurate even in full auto.
for the m16 i just go burst all the way. even tho it eats up on ur ammo, i somehow cant hit things that are far and moving constantly so the burst allows to to have a higher hit area
The G36c ownz every wepon in accuracy. Even in full auto the thing stays accurate becuse the bullet spread moves up vertically rather than horizonatlly with other weapons.

No, a headshot with the L85A1 does 96 outta the 100 health points you have, so it's dang close to killing you, but it doesn't, all weapons that do a damage of 34 or more officially kill with one headshot, all the AKs can, the G3, semi-auto snipers, PKM, M24, and M95 can. THe shtotty can depending on how many pellets hit your body and head.
EDIT: and i agree, the G36C is AWESOME, it has barely any recoil, i always use auto doing bursts or auto.

Thanks, I didn't realise this. I must have been lucky, hitting people who weren't quite at full health. Fortunately with the L85 you can usually pop off another shot quickly to finish them off.
Regarding the apparent lack of accuracy of the L85 - yes, the recoil effects on full auto are fairly bad, but remember that the scope has the 2x zoom on it. You are actually seeing the bullet deviation at 2x through the scope. The lack of accuracy really is just "apparent".

Bullsh!t.
The problem with the L85 is the recoil. It's accuracy drops severely after 3 shots.

Check the stats. The recoil is bad, the deviation per shot is bad, but what really kills it is that it gains very little acuracy from going prone. All the other assault guns are 1.5/1.3/1.0 for standing/crouch/prone. The L85A is 1.5/1.3/1.2. In other words it sucks right from the first shot, and then just gets worse.
