    Ssh Shell

    I have a deicated server running BF2 when i use SSH/Putty to run the server by the ./start.sh command and then close the window off by the cross or type exit it then closes my server down can any one help me as im at my witts end and iam about to cancel my server and forget it. Thanks inadvance for any help.

    Start the server with screen ./start.sh as per the quote below.

    Example (to start the server):
      $ cd /path/to/installation/bf2
      $ screen ./start.sh
      Now press Ctrl-A followed by Ctrl-D to detach the screen session, leaving it
      running in the background. You can now log out without affecting the server.
      Example (to reconnect to the server status monitor):
      $ screen -r
      Please see the man page for screen to learn more about what it can do.
