      You waited 3 minutes...

You have a PCI card...if your card isn't listed as being supported...you're rather stuck.

It MIGHT help if you actually provided us with some INFORMATION!!!!!!!!!!!

Most PCI cards aren't very good, but my friend was low on money and had no AGP/PCI-E slots on his MoBo so he bought a PCI 5700LE and runs the game just fine on low settings with a few on medium. If you have a PCI slot, just go to www.newegg.com and go to the video cards section, and at the "interface" dropbox, choose PCI.

            me too

But PLEASE post the rest of your specs as the 8500 IS on the list of compatible chipsets. How much memory does it have?

Re: how can i get bf2 to work if i have a pci card

Your card is supported by BF2 , but PCI bandswitch is to small for even a 8500 to work at full vapacity, meaning you won't be able to run BF2, or on the lowest resolution, everything off and FPS of 15 .

But for to get it working here is the deal.
Because your mobo isn't actualy made for having an external videocard this isn't standard in the BIOS.

SO, do not put the card in your PC, just start up your pc like before you got the card (monitor cable plugged into mobo) .
              Go in BIOS.
Search for VGA (don't know exactly how it will be called on your mobo)
and turn this of, save settings.
Shut down PC and then put the card in the pci .
Then the card should give you image on your monitor (not accelerated at this moment).
Once in windows install the drivers for that card.
              Restart PC.
Card will work how it should work
