    Re: Omega Drivers

yeah omegas are great. i've only heard one person having trouble w/ them, everybody else i've ever seen mention them has no problems, myself included.
they still come w/ radlinker i think, good program. easy to use. managed to get about an extra 80 or so mhz out of my cards core and mem.

navigation: top of the screen under the big drivers.net thing, click ati. then click winxp, also just under the drivers.net
scroll down past the big ati symbol and the blurb about not deeplinking files to the mirrors and readme. pick one and d/l. then just install as you would normal drivers.

I had problems with them and my old 9800se card. But don't let that stop you from using them.

          Re: Omega Drivers

The omegadrivers aren't about getting more FPS, it is meant as an alternative set of drivers with more options and optimizations, but not to achieve more FPS, but mostly quality, often FPS is the same or better than regular Catalyst.
If you are looking for a set of drivers that will raise your score in an artificial benchmark these aren't for you.

You can read this in the About section at OD.

You won't go wrong by using the omegadrivers, instead of regular catalyst.

It doesn't have RadLinker included anymore, now ATI Tray Tools come with the drivers.
