How much does BF2 cost to develop?

I have no idea, but I can tell you that

- BF2 was developed in a ver short time, they worked about 10months on it, new engine etc...

but it has reasons
- they don't need to put up a story
- only the multiplayer part counts
- so when the engine was don they only had to focus on making maps and making them glitch free

So, a game costs as much as the time they put in to it, BF2 wasn't a very expensive game to develop.

Games like half life, DOOM III cost many times more, but they make more money out of it because they can sell there engine to lots of other developers and they can build many years further on that engine, the BF2 engine is very soffisticated and will only be used in further BF2 expansions

I have heard about the developing time for BF2 at least 2 years. Are you sure they only worked on BF2 for 10 months? Moreover, HL2 and DOOM3 are not such costly games to develop if you know some games like GT4 and GOD of WAR invested by SONY. Anyway I appreciate your response. But the exactly developing cost is still in shadow.

if it was good lots but there lazy and cheap so not as much as it should
