Why is it the voip doesn't seem to work on all the servers?

I usually try and play with 2 RL friends and we join the same squad. We all have mics and try to use the squad chat whenever we can. It seems like 9 out of 10 servers we join the chat does not work. Is this normal?

I really don't feel like joining 10 different server teamspeaks or vent channels, I like the chat in game.

Here is a small list I've come up with that has VOIP (all ports are default)

64.69.47.119 Hell is Loose 64

72.36.185.224 Negative Approach No Lag 64

70.86.42.162 Suxsquad 64

70.86.88.2 Dead Meat 64

70.86.40.218 WalkonWater 32

70.86.91.106 Hunting Ground 48

some servers have it, some dont. when your seaching for servers tick the commo box in the filters tab then all servers that show up will have voip.

i can tell you with 100% accuracy that does not work

I even went on game-monitor.com and searched for all servers with a voip tag of 1, and half of those servers didnt have voip.

You have to find one and write it down for later

He was talking about the in-game browser, not some online one.

oh well! i only play on one server now and i found that through doing this so i thought that it worked!

He was talking about the in-game browser, not some online one.

Checking the BattleCommo will NOT guarantee a server with voip

some servers don't have it enabled. Because it's more expensive to run it, and not many people seem to use it anyway.

Well, me and my friends always use teamspeak.
Cuz when you play on EU servers there are always some germans ****ing up the comms ( if you forget to lock your squad )
Besides, teamspeak works better imo
