What are your favorite hiding spots as Cmmdr?

When I play commander, I like to hide and stay primarily in the Command screen rather than fight. What are some of the best spots you have found to hide, if you use this tactic?

-Karkand, at the top of the smoke stack at the Cement factory, sniper, with a claymore on the ladder.

Sharqi- under the embankment in the water near the CP on the west side of the pennensula.

On the Essex, up at the top...

i usually go around behind that building @ the main MEC flag... theres that little double level thing there.. with the things in it.. yeah :-\ :-) i go in there.

I always just hide at the base. . . it is easy to protect yourself because you can see everything with the scan so it is difficult for guys to sneak up on you. On top of that, you can be an engy and fix things faster without wasting a supply drop.

All I do is just hide under something or in a building. At karkand, if I am the US, I just hide right in the gas station and if the tanks forms, I run over and grab it and move it near me in case any spec ops come in to blow things up so I can then hunt them down with the tank.

I like to hide in that place with the shadows and the trees... over there by that spawn point with the tank and the flag. It's right next to that one place with the grass.

As U.S. a great place is on top of the gas station. Granted you can get artilleried, but it would take an idiot of a commander to waste it just on you.

Swimming pools are cool, also park a vodnik or anything else in the spot where nobody would go to get it (or drive it into the pool) and just sit under that vehicle.

Actually, I dont know how he got there (must of been with a help of a vehcile) but with my awesome estimation of supply box projectory I have successfully sent one right on him.

to fix Toys
you are worthless as CO without them
and wasting a Supply drop on toys vs giving to Armor is also foolish

you get often kill the spec ops trying to kill your toys

if i'm on the mec or pla side, i take the crappy transport chopper (since nobody uses them) and i fly over to the enemys MAIN uncappable base and hide there.

so..they are just toys now? just pawns in your little game? how is a powerful cannon...a toy?

nah, never mind. i see them as my playthings to destroy the people that hate me.

that also begs the question - why doesnt the Fuel Station explode when you shoot it or drop arty? that would be one big boom.

I am a fighting commander, so I hide in my vehicle at the nearest cap and defend it. Repairing assets/defending assets is much easier in a vehicle. If someone on my team wants the vehicle im in, i give it up, but i think its better to sit in a vehicle than have the enemy spec ops steal it and take the main base because of it.
