lol, thats pretty stupid. Sometimes I get a squad leader that spends most of their time in a tank so you cant spawn on them!

Not really, that happened to me few days ago and ketp spwaning at the machine gun of the tank.

they should have a leader cam so that you can see what is going on around your squad leader before you spawn on him. i know you can wait for spawn time to hit 0 and than hit c until you find him, but i want it easier.

As a sniper I often create squads so that I can communicate with the commander and he can issue orders to me. That is all it comes down to. I think the bigger problem with this kind of spawning is that it happens at all. You can't blame a sniper for placing claymores and you spawning in on him, not his fault. You also don't know if he is supporting his squad, maybe he is giving orders to his squad from the crane and spotting for them. Sometimes I will lock my squad but I always name my one-two man squad sniper so people know.

Spawning in on claymore sucks, just about as much as spawning in on your sl and he is in the middle of a firefight or spawning in on a flag only to find it is about to be capped and you are dead...there are many glitches with the spawning system in this game..imo.

How a squad leader that spends 5 minutes recapping the driving he just did? "Did you see that! I was just driving and it was vrooooooom - EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE, vroooooooom. I missed those APCs! Wasn't that cool? Have you ever seen better driving?"

That has to come a close second to clowns who are squad leaders in aircraft so that no one can spawn on them.

Nothing wrong with that, it the is just flying that round and not switching back and forth without telling his squadmates. The SL can be in communication with the commander getting orders for air strikes. Or maybe the previous SL just left and the pilot was left in charge -- he could have been getting air strike orders from the previous SL.

The problem is the lack of communications. If the SL sees someone join his squad, he should tell them to spawn someplace else and not on him. Join a squad, ask over VOIP what you should do and what kit the SL needs to complete his mission. Don't see that sort of teamwork too often though

Interesting idea. I know what you mean having to wait untill you die (after the "you're critically wounded" countdown). When that's over, I normally check to see where the squad leader is and/or what vehicle he's in. If he's in a plane, or a sniper, or on the airfield (and we have flags), I leave the squad and look for a better SL.

Without the claymores, staying on the crane in the middle of Gulf of Oman is not a bad way to give a backup spawn point if the middle flag is taken.

What a jackass - perhaps squad leads should be limited to certain classes due to the spawning option.
