View Distance cheat???

Is there a such thing, I have my set at 100% and on Dalian Plant I can barely see land from the carrier, where there was a helicopter nailing people from the middle of the map to the carrier with TV rockets. I mean everybody too, planes out of the sky, helicopters getting off the ground and not even reloading it seemed like. Am I on crack or can this happen?

Do you play at relatively low settings? When I used to I had problems where I could see the land and a building and tracers coming out of nowhere at me on foot, but I couldn't see the lav25 shooting those tracers. I bumped my settings up a bit and that went away.

I fire TV guided missles from far away too and just guide them to the carrier. Most likely its not a distance scale problem but rather an enemy using long distance weapons to wack the USMC spawn

I think you were on our server when that happened. Oddly, I remember your name. Wasn't that chopper over by the U.S arty on the island? If so, I saw the rockets headed our way too , but saw no chopper or anything either. I went over and ended it with the F35.

I saw the missles coming from the main land, but I guess no one knows for sure. but the dude had at least 26 kills not even 5 minutes into the game.

well, just hop in the chopper, hover at the flag closest to the water.
use the guided missile and keep left mouse clicking to guide it ( where you click it goes to ) and just lead it to the usmc spawn

I can pretty much do that every time, by the time the plane has spawned the rocket has reloaded so you get another shot, you don't even need to hit dead on the splash damage will take out a jet / attack helo (and usually a few other people as well). I only did it a few times due to the other team having an insane pilot and this was the only way to suppress him ... damn he was annoying :)

thanks for the input guys. Too bad nobody in my clan knows how to fly the chopper, other than me, or I would try it, lol.

It's too easy.

It's even easier to hit the UAV or Radar or take out the CIWS.

Yer im not too bad but by clan mate (silly flight sim player usually ) is expert at flying both jets and helo's and I'm pretty accomplished gunner now.

Its usually me and my brother using the attack chopper, but when he keeps taking all my kills, I bail out and let him fend for himself. Its rather amusing to see him try to fly.
