c4 suicide vehicles?

How do you counter a light to medium armor transport vehicle packed with c4 if it is barreling towards you as you traverse an open area and are either a support or medic? This tactic is used extensively on Karkand by some MEC players who drive these suicide buses into a crowd of USMC troops on the hillside close to the western spawn.
I tend to choose support or medic because I find that many USMC troops are AT to counter the incoming MEC vehicles or snipers to pick off incoming troops on foot. However, many times the AT troops are too slow to help take out one of these suicide rushes and I am left trying to jump out of the way (fruitlessly). It could be argued to keep an object on the map such as a boulder or tree between your player and the frontline, however this isn't always feasable, due to the simple fact that you need to move away from these structures when advancing towards the flags.
Another probable suggestion could be to change kits to the AT so I can defend myself against these rushes, however if I do so, my team will have an extremely large number of AT troops (typically).
Perhaps this is a dumb post but with the growing trend of c4 suicide rushes, it is necessary to create a counter-measure.

The only way to defend them is to blow them up via APC or tank. Other then that, suicide c4'mobiles ROCK.

There is no point of putting C4 on a vehicle and jumping out.

So many people destory buggies and jeeps just so and that includes me.

Besides if you saw a enemy group and did load up your ride with C4 theres no way you could kill them and not get caught in the blast yourself.

The noob tube works wonders against it. Or shooting at the driver. I know I've died several times this way. Damn buggers, it means i cant respawn with my Jihad Jeep. :)

Yeah, this is one of many ways that C4 is so messed up.

I've noticed that it's now essentially impossible to get people in a transport (other than a blackhawk or other c4-proof flier), the prospect of getting instasnuffed with that stupid C4 bug is just too deadly.

The broken C4 makes air power all the more unbalanced, making a bad situation even worse.

Sure hope they fix this bug soon.

No, you need to jump out and detonate the c4. Well, unless you ram it so hard it blows up setting off the c4.

Lmao louder, guess you're a moronic C4 crackwhore assistant. It's a bug. C4 is NOT a super-handgrenade, nor is it a ready-made auto-annihilation device rendering other classes obsolete. Why be AT to take out a tank, when C4 is guaranteed to do it, quicker. Why use Engineer mines when C4 is a better mine, able to kill from much further away, with no chance of the vehicle driver even seeing it, and with much less chance of TK?

It's a bug. It's a design flaw. It's an exploit. Use whatever word you want. It's messed up, and hopefully they'll fix it, and the over-bearing air units, soon.

It seems you have just disagreed with yourself.

There is a c4 bug, where it drops another block instead of blowing the c4. That is a REAL bug, not some armour whore fantasy land where you don't have to worry about getting killed without knowing, unlike your targets that have to deal with you spawn camping them and killing them instantly.

If you die by C4, it's probably your own fault for not keeping a sufficient watch on your vehicle.

Oh... yeah and back to the c4. I have fun dooing this but you should be able to stick c4 to eachother.....me and my friends would have so much fun with that....
