does the air defense ribbon require that u make 11 stinger kills in 1 round? or is it global?

But kills with an AA vehicle on infantry counts as well.

So if you want the ribbon, just take an AA vehicle and kill some infantry with it, very easy

In one round .The easiest way to do it is jump in one of the anti-aircraft tanks and just gun down everything you can. People,jeeps, helicopters etc.

just get a linebacker or sit in an IGLA for a while and wait for a transport helo or attack helo and just rack up the kills

what you do is get a lock on to a helo and wait for them to drop chaff and re-aquire a positive lock and fire it's almost a guaranteed kill

plus in a linebacker you can kill enemy jeeps and infantry very easily

for air defence i think you can just get it by sitting in it air defence for 10 minutes too.

I got mine the first time I tried spending a whole round defending the USS Essex on Dragon Valley.

I must admit Dragon Valley wasn't the best map for AA action, but I just thought it would be cool to take down jets trying to bomb the runway...lucky for me, the same people kept trying over and over again..and I'd keep knocking them outta the sky...air defence ribbon for me!

I got the air defesne ribbon once..it showed it on the screen with the drums and everything. Went, back to see it on BFHQ, wasn't there....it's been atleast a week now...no air defense ribbon. :cry:

Heres a cheap trick, be commander and sit in an igla, and rack up kills with artillery, thats how i got mine it works trust me.

you have to get 11 kills in 1 round with AA to get the ribbon you only need time in AA to get the basic badge

Dragon Valley, as MEC, go to the island with the 2 IGLA's on either side of the little gazebo. I shot down 4 fully loaded choppers with ease from there :) just dont stay in either one long, jump out and run down the hill a bit when you cant see any choppers, cause those damn jets and artillery will be raining down on you every damn chance they get.

I'm sure there's a lot more than just MEC's in dragon valley when your smoking up.

I got mine on dragon valley... if your an American, just jump in the AA vehicle(linebacker) and wait for the APC and the heavy tank to roll out, follow closely behind. Their APC's and heavy tanks will engage your APC and heavy tank while you focus that linebacker on the hill and island spawn... not even 5 mins into the map I got my badge.
