Free Blueprint for Map

Hi, I was going to make this map but unfortunatly I had to abondon the project. I had finished the blueprint though and you guys are free to use it, just put my name in the credits.

Countries - US vs. MEC
Players - 64
Story -
"Before the war started, Emirate Isle, off the coast of the United Arab Emirates, was a vacation spot for Americans living in the Middle East. The island was co-owned by the MEC and the US, in the south and north respectively, both had military units stationed there. One day the MEC received intelligence that the Secretary of State was on the island; this was their chance to strike and start the war decisively. At 12:23 local time the War started with the crack of a single snipers bullet. That’s when all hell was unleashed. The subsequent battle can only be described with one word... INTENSE!"

The map was imagined to be for vanille BF2, and the buildings would propebly need to be made in a sperate editor (Gmax).

might be good to use it foe the expansion as thats more focused on CQC.

i think this would be really good, both in the expansion and normal BF2. But i think it will be better in normal bf2, as it fits the story (US vs MEC) and it doesn't have grappling hooks, which i believe will make the map stupid. the whole idea for this map (from what i can tell) are the buildings and rooftops, and the stairways and ladders are vital chokepoints. if they had grappling hooks then it would remove all of the strategy.

Yes the map would probebly require custom buildings.

I forgot to mention this but the map should NOT have artillary. Aritllary would be completely over powering, though UAV and Radar could probebly still be used.

This map would emualte supply lines gameplay, you need to take the control points in order as to get to the back control point you NEED to go through the other control points. This would mean that everybody would be fighting for one control point = intense play.

good point, would the main US and MEC bases be uncappable?

also, im interested in the 'easter egg' room. what would you find in there, and how do you get in there

1. No, all bases would be capturable.
2. The map maker can put anything they like in the room, the secret passage leads to it. The secret passage runs all the way down the lenght of the map. There would be holes so that you could shoot into rooms from the passage.

Anyways, I hope some mapmaker decides to make this map. If you do just post here to tell everybody.

i haven't got the map maker, but i would love to make this map, but i would probably make a mess up of it, so i would rather see someone with experience do it!

I am starting High School in 2 days, and I know I won't have the time to make the map.


Some other notes I forgot to mention on the blueprint.
1. There is one boat that spawns from the middle netruel spawn point. (thats the grey blob)
2. The things attached to the houses with half grey/black borders with arrows pointing up are ramps to the roofs for people and the light jeeps.
3. The map should be made that you CAN'T go around the sides. The point of the map is that the fighting is concentrated through one lane.
