The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay

Has anyone played this game? I recently just got this, didnt really know what to expect but wow, its really good. Im running it in 2.0 ++ mode (which is basically the equivalent of the Ultra High setting in Doom 3) so the graphics are really good. The game at all isnt like a tradition FPS. Its stealthy at parts, shoot em up at others, theres tons of interaction with charcters and the enviroment, excellent dialogue. The game is pretty adult oriented too. Lots of Brutal moments, and harsh launguage etc.

I had no idea this game was gonna be this good.

Don't have the game but I've heard that its very good. A "sleeper hit" for sure. I might pick it up eventually when it comes down in price.
    Thanks for the screenies.

yeah I got that game for xbox. It is insanely well done. I got for like 30 bucks when It first came out. I can't imagine why it wasn't more popular.

ps. riddick shooting guards with there own rifles is a nice touch

ummm. On very low settings yes. It has differnet modes for different cards. I have it on the Ultra High setting, so you could play it, but your graphics wouldnt look as good as mine.

I played the demo when it got out a few months back but I wasn't too impressed, I might pick it up when it's a budget title though.

Btw. are you still on the FH team or are you a different SenorDingDong?

Pretty good game, sadly I never got around to finishing it but I thought it played better than Doom3. The atmosphere was really well done, and the gameplay was fun.

yeah, that stuff was great. The first half of the game you can't pick up guns so you have to use shivs and brass nuckles but the best is grabbing the guys hand and making him blow his brains out... you just feel badass after doing it.

I played the game using only hand-to-hand combat the second time through, unless I had to shoot out a light or kill a mech. It's pretty fun. Punch those naked monsters in the sewers and they explode.
