Can you kill three healthy, running enemies with one clip from the SVD?

I rarely cry "hacks!" when people are good shots, primarily because I am a good shot too and I don't use any kind of aimbot - I know it's quite possible to be really accurate with some of the guns in this game.

However, last night I witnessed something that, in many hours of gameplay, I've never seen before.

An enemy sniper named "allskrewedup" was using the SVD. My squad and I were roughly 20-30 meters away, medium range, and running at a 45 degree angle toward his position. He killed ALL THREE of us using one clip (I know because he whacked us one after another), and did so while standing up (that is, not prone or kneeling).

Is the SVD capable of this kind of mayhem? What confuses me even more is that unscoped, the sniper rifles don't have crosshairs, right? In order to aim this well he would have to be scoped, which would've made it impossible to so quickly acquire other targets.

I can accept being worked over if this is actually possible under these circumstances, but looking at this guy's stats, he's not terribly great. Either he was having an amazing, one of a kind night... or he had "D1V1N3" help.

At 30m and scoped, the SVD hits nearly dot-on. It's possible he's practiced sniping a LOT. Not to mention he could have been fully zoomed in on the minimap, so he knew where you were relative to the others.

Then all he had to do was shoot, turn a bit, shoot, turn a bit, shoot.

You'd be surprised. Crouching/Proning has VERY little influence on your accuracy when using a sniper rifle. It's the scope that increases your accuracy (0.01 deviation factor).

svd is one of the best weapons in the game to me, accurate and powerful if aimed right, totally possible.

I've done that before. In fact, I killed 4 in a row with 4 bullets. All headshots. Luck does come in to play I'll admit.

According to the Prima guide, the is absolutely NO deviation regardless of standing/crouching/prone, with the sniper rifle. Or for that matter with any pistol, or Engineer Shotgun

Unlike other weapons, the sniper rifle is just as accurate while standing as it is prone.

Actually if you look at the settings for the sniper rifles they don't have a separate setting for standing and crouching.

Now when the the Chinese Dragunov sniper rifle is zoomed it has a deviation of 0.2 vs. the RPK-74 which has a 0.8.

The thing is that certain weapons don't have a diviation difference when standing/crouching/prone when ZOOMED:

Pistols
Engineer's Shotguns
