Admin Abuse!

ARGHHH!!! I COULD KILL SOMEONE!!! I was just playing in
24/7 City Maps, Altered Egos [AE] 208.51.201.211:16567 and I was pwning i had a score of 67 and a real good team score 50+ I was playing support and was a squad leader. I respawed as a assault class ans went ny the boarded of the level to cap a flag with my squad and I noticed a MEC shooting from the top of a hill so I wiped out the trusty noob tube and hit him and got killed him. Then about 45 seconds after my game freezes and it sidplays I was kicked/banned from the server admin descision: Foul language. my bet is that was the admin and he kicked/ banned me for killing him and being at the top of my team. I also noticed other players being kicked for foul language that were good players. I was really enjoying playing in that server and to be admin abused on a ranked server isnt right. Some one needs to go in there and friggingset that admin right. ALSO..... THERE WAS NO VOICE COMM OR TEXT CHAT GOING ON SO WTF IS HE KICKING FOR FOUL LANGUAGE FOR!?

this has happend to me also, sometimes admins just kick you because you kill them and they don't like it, or if you kill a friend of the admin, same story

actualy this is some kind of exploit to, EA should reset there stats

Is that allowed.? isnt that admin abuse... It is a ranked game server and by dooing this admins are afftecting rankings.

Cargo, the solution is simple. Play on a different server. There is really nothing you can do about him.

Salad is right. There are those (including a few on this forum) who believe that because they pay to maintain the servers they have the right to kick anyone for any reason. Nothing can be done about their fascist ways. In my experience though, admins like this are a minority and chances are you will have better luck with the next server you go to...

Yes but that doesnt really fix the problem is one admin can do it what is to stop others as well? Can EA even find out who these people are, it seems a little his word v. mine.

What stops the others from doing it as well is that they are decent human beings... It's as simple as that. I love to play and if someone comes along and consistantly kills me, my reaction is to say "well done" because that person has more skill than I do - And that pushes me to try harder and to get better. I also learn from what they did and that improves my game. Most admins are of the same mindset.

Those who are not and who kick all players better than themselves are very sad little men...

like i think that is messing up the ranks.....a bunch if the admins buddys vs a bunch of n00bs.......... noob get better admin kicks ... good player joins kills admin...admin kicks....n00b joins...admin and friends pwn him.

Recently, an astute forum member suggested that EA/DICE create a set of protocols that ranked server admins must follow to ensure consistency and fairness to players.

I think it's a brilliant, if somewhat intimidating-to-execute, idea.

THis has also happend to me and 2 other clan m8s, In 1 server. Me and 1 of my m8s were owning in the Cobra, and the Admin kicks me and him because we were being assholes. lol. Same thing with other clan m8.

Yeah it sucks. The worst that happened to me was I got kicked because I was going to get a gold medal and they wanted to let one of their guild mates get the gold instead. I know this because my friends asked and they were quite candid about it. The best thing I can suggest is do what I did, make a list of the servers this has happened to you on and never go back to them. After awhile when word gets out that the server is run by 12 year olds they will have the pleasure of having the server to themselves. I know it is a pipe dream, but I can wish can't I? Hopefully after 1.03 comes out and I can make favorites list, It will get better.

It's stat padding pure and simple. Report them to EA and hopefully the entire clan will have their stats wiped.

you would need proof, and that isn't so easy, the admin can say you where idle for some time, you let yourself getting teamkilled on purpose, etc...

we have just a few admins for our clan server
and we kick for the right reasons
#1. make room for clan member
how do we choose who to kick??
idle players, just joined (no score), ping over 200
if none in those categories, we wait till round is over
why ruin someone games that has ANY score over 5?
#2. TK idiot - not from TK high count - but from obvious "on purpose"
#3. bad language , AFTER being warned more than 2x
#4 starting excessive kick votes without cause
If I am admin - and someone starts a kick, I ask him why he did it, and if it not a valid reason (even in his own mind) - then he (the starter) gets kicked
#5. CO that whores Armor/Aircraft
CO should Command, not fight (of course there are exceptions)
#6. the hardest reason to kick/ban if we suspect cheaters/hackers - we will ask hin how he did a certain thing, and if we do not like the answer - he goes - but we give benfit of the doubt to player

almost forgot - stat padders ALWAYS get banned- the guys hiding near edge of map - not the supply/medic/vehicle whores - at least they are fighting for their points

and
TK punishers GO quick

we NEVER kick players who own others
we RECRUIT them!
well we try :P

we often get praise from players about our
"admin style"
and have many regulars who play in our servers (2) all the time

I'm in agreeance with just not going to that server anymore. This is really the best thing you can do. If those 'tards keep doing things like that, and then every stops going, they won't have enough people on the server to play.
