Bf2 Crashes after loading costum maps!! pls help

Singleplayer problem:

With all the costum maps that are made for bf2 crashes at the end of loading of the map to the desktop. ( no errors are given)
All the official maps are working fine. When you want toi click on join game the game is already crashed!!

I installed the latest drivers and installed 1.02.

DOES anywhen know how to solve this problem!!

Asrock k7s8x
amd 2600 XP
Geforce fx5200 128 mb agp 8
756 mb memory
Windows xp sp2

It has to do with the map maker. If they do something wrong the game will not load and will crash.

This could be a game issue as well, I haven't heard much about it if it is, although someone more in touch with the development community maybe able to tell you because if it is, I'm sure they are gawking about it over there.

i have it with all the costum made maps for bf2. So i dont think it has do with the way they make these maps.

I personaly think it has to do with a game file what maybe is missing or not loading when a costum map loads.

i dont know but do i need also other software too be installed on my pc. net.framework1.1 ? for running these costum made maps

Well then run Windows Update (in your Start Menu > All Programs > Windows Update [near the top]) to make sure your Windows install is current.
