sorry..I edited it up above but I'll post it here again (remember..these are comfortable button assignments for the Sidewinder..you may need to change them around for your stick...if your joystick has more buttons, then use one button instead of the combos I have set up):

Hold down button 5 to: use the hatswitch to change camera views and change jet weapon loadouts, button 6 to eject, and button 7 to voip chat with squad.

Hold down button 8 to: use the hatswitch for the commo rose, button 1 (trigger) to select the command.

What's the mem usage on JoytoKey, Talus? Or anybody who uses it? I, and possibly others, would be more inclined to use it once, let alone two instances, if we knew that it's mem consumption was negligible.

(and yes, I have 2 gigs of ram. I'm just greedy with it. :p )

Yep. I just ran the program twice as you said, and set one to run bf2 config and the other one to run the config named Battlefield2. Didnt have to change a thing.

Find:

ControlMap.addKeyToTriggerMapping c_PIMouseLook IDFKeyboard IDKey_LeftCtrl 0 0

and replace with:

ControlMap.addKeyToTriggerMapping c_PIMouseLook IDFKeyboard IDKey_LeftCtrl 0 0
ControlMap.addButtonsToAxisMapping c_PIMouseLookX IDFGameController_0 IDButton_13 IDButton_15 0
ControlMap.addButtonsToAxisMapping c_PIMouseLookY IDFGameController_0 IDButton_12 IDButton_14 0

I have Logitech 3D Extreme PRO even with your 2 loaded profiles I cant get it to work....HELP for a dummy
Need someone who has Joyto program working with Logitech 3D Extreme PRO.

Need someone who has Joyto program working with Logitech 3D Extreme PRO.

If you take a few minutes to figure out what the 2 profiles are doing, you can work your way through it. Take a look at your BF2 controls setting for your joystick. If you have things mapped to your POV hat, you will have to clear them, as the game will over ride your joytokey commands.

Open up a notepad window and load the joytokey settings, then when you are in notepad you can click all your buttons and move the hat to see what they will do.

Read the readme that comes with the program. it explains more.

this maybe a stupid question but where is the controls.con file, also how do I setup up the hat to move around(using joy2key) with out haviing to press Ctrl

I have outlined the Joytokey method NUMEROUS times...
