TLDR.

If you can fly the Black Hawk well like I can, can manage your crew to come out alive, and you can manage flag capping. Fine by me. There are plenty of ways to take down the BH. Good job with a score that high.

You can turn a flag from enemy to friendly in about 5 seconds. With good piloting and gunning, that could be done the entire round.

Look, I just don't buy that you went an entire round in a BH capturing flags and never taking a hit. That thing is slow as mud. I have shot them down many times from jets to tanks to sams. No way you could avoid being shot down.

I like being in a BH to shoot people, I dont use them for FC'ing.

My thought is that there are too many threads about this that all turn into flame fests.

Slightly off topic, but I think a perfect fix to it while leaving Blackhawk's the same would be replace the conquest game type with supply line. Then the maps would be played as they are supposed to be, the Blackhawk can't run around capping the least defended flags, and the only flag they CAN cap is being defended by up to 32 people. There's no way when all those people see the Blackhawk the thing would survive. 2 or 3 are it's worst nightmare already, imagine 32.

The text you quoted does not state that he never got hit. It may infer that he survived all round without getting shot down which is indeed possible.

Bhing should first off not be concidered "whoring". I know much of you dont realize that it actually takes teamwork to accomplish. I cant tell you how easy it is to take down an enemy bh...get a tank...It takes at least 5 people all with voice coms to keep the bh alive...sure you might get the crappy mec team and the bh will rule but when you get even teams you have to have teamwork in order to survive...

Oh we were hit many times. We had a rew of two repair, two medic, one resupply and the pilot (me). Our armor level dropped into the red bars quite a few times but with evasive action and quick wrenching you can repir in the air in a matter of seconds.

The map we played is the swamp one (songhua stalemate?) and there are no planes. Alot of stingers though

I think Blackhawk whoring is wonderful and a great way to get points. I believe the exact oppisite in-game when I get killed by a blackhawk 100 times. That is why many people complain, because it's not fun being any place else that isn't the blackhawk. It's annoying because you spawn and die within a few seconds. I think that's how some others feel too (I hope)
